So, what's so important about the month of February?

Other than Valentine's Day, just what in the heck is so special about the month of February? There are only 28 days and it's in the middle of winter.  Let's take a recap on American history: Feb. 1 1865   –   President Lincoln sings the Thirteenth Amendment, which abolishes slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for crime, to the United States Constitution. 1893  –  Thomas A.
